As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and guide the future of Orthodox Christianity in central Clearfield County, the Church Councils of Nativity of the Theotokos in Madera and St. Michael the Archangel in Irvona are launching a series of strategic planning activities throughout 2025. These discussions aim to assess the parishes’ current collaboration and explore potential opportunities for growth.

Parishioners are invited to participate in a brief survey designed to reflect on the strengths of both churches and identify areas for development. The survey is based on an essay by the late Fr. Thomas Hopko, which examines key aspects of parish life, including worship, pastoral care, education, outreach, and administration.

All responses will remain anonymous, and the feedback gathered will play a vital role in shaping meaningful discussions about the churches’ shared future. Parishioners are encouraged to take a few moments to prayerfully consider their responses and complete the survey by Saturday, February 15.

The Church Councils appreciate the time, thoughtful participation, and prayers of the faithful as they seek God’s guidance in this important process.
