Saint Michael the Archangel Orthodox Church in Irvona and Nativity of the Theotokos Orthodox Church in Madera will jointly conduct their Annual Meeting this Sunday, November 24, 2024, following the Divine Liturgy in Irvona. The approved agenda is listed below and the 2024 Annual Report has been uploaded to the parish website. The report encompasses the Rector’s Report, current account balances for each church as of October 31, resolutions to be voted on separately by each church’s members, and the proposed budgets for 2025. Please take this week to review its contents; copies will be available at the meeting on Sunday.
Resolutions to be considered on Sunday are also included in the attached Annual Report. The deadline for new resolutions has passed, and therefore no additional motions or new business will be considered from the floor.
Parishioners in good standing who were registered with their respective Church as members at the beginning of this ecclesiastical year (September 1, 2024) and who have fulfilled their Lenten obligations of Confession and Confession this calendar year may and should attend. There is no voting by proxy. If you have any questions about your membership status in particular, or general questions about any item for consideration at the Annual Meeting, please contact Fr. Alexander or your respective Church Council President (Jacob Mandell for Irvona; Greg Sidorick for Madera).
