Christ is in our midst!
I am reaching out to invite you to participate in an important study called Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations, conducted by the Hartford Institute for Religion Research. This national study aims to understand how churches and the religious lives of their members have evolved since the pandemic. Your input will help ensure that Orthodox Christian perspectives are well-represented. My colleague Alexei Krindatch, whom I have worked with for over 20 years, is coordinating the Orthodox response.
How to Participate:
Each adult (18+) in your household is invited to complete an individual survey. The questionnaire takes about 15 minutes, and responses are confidential. Here is the link to the parishioners’ questionnaire: Survey Link.
Benefits for Our Parish:
- A $200 Amazon gift card for our parish, once data collection ends in December 2024, which will go into our Outreach Fund.
- An individualized report on our parish, if we receive at least 10 responses, to be shared in Spring 2025.
- A U.S.-wide summary report from the National Attender Survey, to be provided by late Spring 2025.
