Thank you very much to all who attended the Irvona Church Clean-up Day last Saturday! All had a great time. Moreover, the temple, hall, and grounds truly look beautiful and are ready for the Paschal Triduum, which will be held entirely at Irvona this year: The three-day cycle of services begins with Matins of Holy Friday (also known as the 12 Passion Gospels on Thursday, April 21, at 7:00pm) and ends with the Paschal Vigil (Nocturns, Paschal Matins, and the Paschal Divine Liturgy) at 10:30pm on Holy Saturday.
This Saturday, we will meet at Madera at 3:30pm to get St. Mary’s ready for Palm Sunday and the first half of Holy Week. At 5:30pm, we will break for refreshments and then celebrate Great Vespers together. Many hands make even lighter work!
