Our Eastern Deanery of the Archdiocese of Western Pennsylvania is having a combined Lenten service this Thursday, April 7 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in State College. It will take place at 6:00pm. We will be serving the Presanctified Liturgy that is called for by the Church on the fifth Thursday of Great Lent, a day when the Great Canon of St. Andrew of Crete is also read in its entirety by the faithful. A deanery meal will be offered to all participants following the liturgy, with a free-will offering collected to benefit the work of the Eastern Deanery. All are invited to attend.
